This talk will explore the critical role of tailored nutrition in supporting senior pets, focusing on the benefits of Royal Canin’s Senior Diets. Drawing on clinical experience and nutritional expertise, we will discuss how these diets address common age-related health challenges such as weight management, joint health, kidney function, and cognitive support.

Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008, I have dedicated 18 years to small animal practice in Cheshire, serving as both Head Nurse and Consulting Nurse. My expertise centres on weight management, where I have developed tailored programs to improve pet health and wellbeing. In 2016, I furthered my professional development by earning a certificate in Feline and Canine Veterinary Health Nutrition, deepening my understanding of nutritional science and its practical application in clinical settings.

In 2019, I joined Royal Canin as a Veterinary Business Manager for the North-West region, supporting veterinary practices across Manchester and Cheshire. My role involves training veterinary teams on Royal Canin diets, sharing nutritional insights, and building confidence in dietary recommendations. Through collaborative partnerships, I strive to enhance the standard of care and empower veterinary professionals to deliver optimal nutritional solutions for their patients.
