More than a Welcome: Owning your impact every day

Let’s recognise the difference you make, every single day. Whatever your role, how you show up matters more than you might think, not just for others, but for your own well-being too. We’ll explore how to take real ownership of your impact in a way that feels positive and empowering, not pressured. You’ll be encouraged to see stress in a new light not just as something to get through, but as something that can point you towards what matters and where you’re growing. Expect honest reflection, simple practical ideas and a chance to reconnect with the parts of your work that feel meaningful, so you can feel more in control, more energised and enjoy the contribution you bring.

Nikki Chapman Bio

I started my career in the veterinary industry 10 years ago, joining as a farm practice administrator. I worked in a small, rural branch and quickly felt deep passion for the clients and our business. I loved the work so much that I trained as a Vet Technician, and held a dual role for 2 years, working on reception and on farm. In March 2019, I became Practice Manager and 18 months later I supported my business merging with another practice, we re-branded, changed PMS and integrated to become a farm branch within a mixed practice. In December 2020, I was offered the opportunity to become Practice Manager of the whole business, taking senior leadership of almost 70 people across 5 branches and using my working experience to attain my Diploma in Veterinary Management & Leadership. In January 2024, I begun my current position as a Business Support Manager, championing the learning and support of businesses across the South West for my corporation and pursuing my ILM Level 7 in Coaching and Mentoring of Senior and Executive Level Leaders.
