Course Overview

*This course is a BVRA membership benefit and available for BVRA members only*

This short course has been provided by the Veterinary Defence Society for BVRA members. Their training team, VDST provides all veterinary team members with support and training to help with common challenges faced in veterinary practice today. The insurance claims handled by the VDS gives them a good sense of the problems and pitfalls that exist in practice, which they use to develop training that helps to avoid them and that helps you to thrive in your role in practice.

In this “Understanding the People Puzzle” course we want to equip you with the tools and techniques to thrive as a veterinary receptionist. We focus on how we manage ourselves, our relationships with our clients and our relationships within the team. We hope you find this useful and that it gives you a flavour of the sort of training and support the VDST can offer.

Recent Testimonials

I found the course very useful and it highlighted the reasons why I enjoy my job and really appreciate the colleagues that I work with. It also made me realise that I should always be aware of other people's thoughts & feelings. Occasionally when we are really busy and tensions can run high, we can forget to be kind and appreciate our colleagues and clients accordingly.
