Covid Safety at BVRA Congress 2021
We are highly committed to the health and safety of our delegates, exhibitors, speakers and staff and we want to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone attending our event. We are following the most up to date Covid-19 Government guidelines and are working closely with the venue, Jurys Inn Hotel. We will continue to review these guidelines in collaboration with the venue and based on current government advice and regulations.
Part of ensuring that we meet our obligations, we are requesting that all delegates, exhibitors, speakers, contractors, and staff must prove one of the following on arrival to congress:
- Proof of vaccination
- or proof of a negative lateral flow test result taken within 24 hours of the event.
Lateral flow test kits can be obtained free of charge from the Government website https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests.
You can load your results on the www.gov.uk website and will be sent your test results via your mobile or email.
Whilst face masks are no longer compulsory, we would ask you to wear them during the lectures and in areas where there are large volumes of people, and in the more public areas of the hotel. Seating in the lecture room can be spaced to ensure social distancing for those who are not comfortable sitting in groups.
We would please request anyone who has a temperature of higher than 37.5°C or any COVID-19 symptoms before the event not to attend.
We will provide hand sanitiser in high traffic areas, and we will ensure that seating and areas of high touch points will be regularly sanitised.
Our priority is ensuring that everyone has a safe and enjoyable congress, however if you should have any concerns, please contact one of the BVRA team to discuss further.
