Nutritional Truths

The pet population has boomed in recent years and with it there has been a huge increase in first-time dog and cat owners. The rise of social media has led to an explosion of misinformation on the internet, with pet parents being told their pets have the same needs as wolves, that raw food is best and grains are terrible; that allergies are common and chicken is awful, that dry food causes disease and that cats can be vegan! In this interactive session, we will answer all these questions and more, including some fun workshops to get you thinking and a Kahoot element giving you the chance of prizes. Bring with you any question at all about pet nutrition and we promise to give you the answers on the day!

James Russell – Vetlife President

Moral Injury

The term moral injury is used frequently to describe what might have happened to us in our workplaces. How we identify that something has been morally injurious, and how we respond to it can make a significant different to how we move on from it. This session will explore what moral injury is, how it impacts people, and how to move past it.

Kirstie Pickles – Vetlife

How to be a neurodivergent-friendly practice

This session will cover what neurodiversity is and describe simple adjustments that can make a veterinary practice a more neurodivergent-friendly space for colleagues and clients.
