BVRA Annouces New President

BVRA News

The British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA) is delighted to announce the appointment of its new President, beginning a two-year term dedicated to championing the vital role of veterinary receptionists across the profession.

Having been on the BVRA Council since 2021, Dani Bowers, AVR, brings experience, passion and understanding of the challenges and opportunities within veterinary reception. During that time, Dani has witnessed first-hand the organisation’s growth and development, and the increasing recognition of the important role veterinary receptionists play within veterinary teams.

Speaking about the appointment, the new President said:

“I am so very excited to start my 2-year term as President with the support of the BVRA team and our amazing council. I have been lucky enough to work with the BVRA since 2021 and have seen how things have grown and developed.

As President, I will continue to educate others about the role and responsibilities of a veterinary receptionist and celebrate what we do. I aim to bring positivity during times of low morale by encouraging unity, training and development. I am honoured to be able to provide a voice for all of us veterinary receptionists and hope to steer some positive change for us and the future of our role.”

The BVRA would also like to extend its sincere thanks to outgoing President Abbie Wilson for her dedication, leadership and support over the past two years. During her presidency, Abbie has played an important role in supporting the association’s growth and strengthening the community for veterinary receptionists across the profession.
